Tried couple of HDR photos today morning,,,the place is just behind our villa…it was very quite in the morning, quite in the sense no wind, no boats, no ripples in the water….so thought of taking some reflection shots fusing with HDR. But as soon I started, a boat passed by and few ripples were formed, when the ripples were about to settle, the same boat gone back again…So couldn’t take much photos, but managed a few which are…

The Ghost Town

We 4 friends (Nivin, Firas Henry & myself) went for a photo shoot to one of an abandoned city in UAE last week. The city called Jazirat Al Hamra or known as”The Ghost town”. The city is known as Ghost town since inhabitants abandoned the city for good in 16th century. The place which is  situated in Ras Al Khaimah”(northern most emirate of UAE) seems to be like a ghost town as it says.  We reached there by 3:30 AM, mounted our cameras on tripod and start shooting. It last for 5 hours and return back by 8:30 AM. Below are my few clicks.

One Tree

This week sunday Challenge was Öne Tree”,,,I thought of sharing below picture for this challenge. This is taken from Kruger Park – South Africa.

Wiki says “Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. It covers an area of 19,485 square kilometres (7,523 sq mi) in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in northeastern South Africa, and extends 360 kilometres (220 mi) from north to south and 65 kilometres (40 mi) from east to west. Areas of the park were first protected by the government of the South African Republic in 1898, and it became South Africa’s first national park in 1926.”

This place is simply amazing…and the tree framed in this picture, is in a river bank, with huge birds nest mounted and hippos and crocodiles surronded. It was a beautiful scene.
